In my solo
albums, certain characters and places began to emerge gradually, and
over time, they formed a kind of unintentional personal mythology.
My new album, Contrahechizo
(Counterspell), follows a
similar path. Like the others, it's not strictly focused on that
mythology, each song can still be heard on its own.

Main character of the album Radiopibe. He receives cosmic signals which he tries to clumsily translate. Last anyone heard, after the Lonesome Club was reached by the Cold Nexus, he fled to the underground caves of Mars to avoid seeing anyone for an undetermined amount of time.
A rarely frequented bar where Radiokid, The Grim Sonic Foreman and The Operator, used to hang out, before it became unbearable after being reached by the Cold Nexus signal.
Main character of the album Random Obscure Soundsystem. Foreman of the Psychotic Factory. Receives orders from Prince Summerfall Winterspring to launch the RANDOM OBSCURE SOUNDSYSTEM operation.
Operational headquarters of the Grim Sonic Foreman.
Prince Summerfall Winterspring
A cosmic entity also known as “The Stubborn and Supreme Starving Artist from the Glorious Realms at the End of Space-Time or Perhaps Beyond”. Number one enemy of the Cold Nexus. Creator of the Random Obscure Soundsystem protocol.
A sonic protocol emitted by Prince Summerfall Winterspring and executed by The Grim Sonic Foreman, designed to destabilize the signal later known as the Cold Nexus.
Dominic Slaughterhouse (Performed by Hector Ledo)
Agent of the Cold Nexus who subtly attempts to take control of the Psychotic Factory, disguising himself as a marketing and management expert. He’s shot in the face by the Foreman whit a shotgun, but returns in his original form in Contrahechizo. He was only ever seen by Radiokid, the Foreman, and the Operator, so some claim he’s not even real.
Ultrabitch Megablaster (Performed by Malena Pichot)
Agent of the Cold Nexus attempting to sabotage the Random Obscure Soundsystem protocol. Takes the form of a woman to seduce the Foreman, only to mock him cruelly. She was only ever seen by Radiokid, the Foreman, and the Operator, so some claim she’s not even real.
CONTRAHECHIZO (Counterspell):

Spell:
A signal broadcast by the city/entity Cold Nexus whose sole purpose is to reduce consciousness to a predictable flow, convert all experience into data, and suppress any poetic or insurgent impulse.
Counterspell:
A counter-emission whose purpose is to interfere with the Spell signal but besides that, It has no reason to exist except the assertion of its own meaning. It doesn’t aim to be effective. The Operator and his superiors sustain it because they believe that if something is necessary on the symbolic plane, then it must be done, even if its material impact is almost nonexistent.
Cold Nexus:
Entity/City that exists in deep space.
Most of the population reached by its
Spell signals turn into
either dumb, creativity-dead slaves, or unbearably boring and repellent
snobs.
The Operator:
Protagonist of the album Contrahechizo. After the disappearance of Radiopibe and the Foreman, the Operator -hidden in his fortress-transmitter- is contacted by Prince Summerfall Winterspring to jam the Spell signal by emitting disruptive transmissions. According to the Prince, they have only a 0.000001% chance of having any effect.
The Rusty Pilgrim:
Signal-emitting entity located somewhere in the remote depths of outer space. Its transmissions help the Operator amplify the Counterspell signal.
